Hey y’all! Happy weekend! I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead of you. We’re still rompin’ around the lake.
I’m sharing a fun, floral dress that I stumbled upon while on our travels. Found at Grass Stains in Graham, Tx this feminine dress is easy, breezy, and super versatile. I instantly feel in love with the soft colors and print. I paired it with the Dolce Vita fringe peep-toe booties from Target. I mean, how about this fringe?! For fall, I will be adding tight and boots, a leather jacket and floppy hat, a cardigan and scarf—the list continues!
Check out this fabulous store here. Seriously, Dawn (the owner) has carries on-trend, yet classic pieces that have just enough flair to make you feel “that” way. Ladies, you know what I’m talking about. Not to mention, her price point is wallet-friendly.
Another point I wanted to highlight is difficult for me to share. If you know me personally, you know I’m very insecure about my spider veins.
Ever since the 6th grade, I have had spider veins. I vividly remember when I noticed the first one. I’ve had countless encounters when people ask, “How did you get that awful bruise?” and “Oh, what happened to your leg?” As honest and sincere as they may have been, this only added to my insecurity.
Spider veins are hereditary and can worsen if the conditions are right. For me, they have worsen over the years. Like I have mentioned before, I want to be real—100%, so that included my spider veins. They aren’t pretty, and I know that, but they are me.
I have plans to visit a doctor in October to talk about the risk associated with my veins. Yes, I am self conscious about them, but more importantly I want to be healthy. If there is a risk, I want it fixed.
Do you have an insecurity that you’re working through? Is it something that you have dealt with for years?
Have a great one, y’all! Be you, be true, and never doubt your beauty!
